Really nice food with a stage and live music singing in Chinese. It is pretty noisy but we enjoyed the atmosphere and vibe. Order via QR code scanning. Menu was in both English and Chinese with pictures which was helpful. Food portion sizes was decent. Food came out super fast and was very tasty. We want to go back and try more of their dishes for sure! The giant shellfish stir fry looked interesting. Cocktails were super delicious and very much worth the price as the alcohol content was super high however the menu does not indicate the actual content of the drink.

I really loved this hidden bistro in Chinatown! You go up some somewhat shady looking stairs and arrive at this super cute and cozy spot that made me feel like we were camping.

The food was also super tasty. I'm not a fan of spicy food but they had such tasty non-spicy range. The glutinous rice and pork ribs was my fave! There's actually enough for two or three in that serving, same with the tofu and crab soup. Everything we ordered was actually delicious!

Food tasted great! Good dish:rice ratio. Soup could be better in terms of flavours, I felt that there wasn't enough of the soup for the price, and the carrots were quite soft (personally I'd like it to be just hard enough to hold with chopsticks without crumbling). The pork was cooked so beautifully it melted in my mouth.

The fried mantou is how you'd expect, can't go wrong; very filling.

As for the pork/bamboo shoot dish, it was quite well made. I liked the flavours and it wasn't too strong but had enough spice to it - VERY HOT (temperature) in the metal plate.

You can tell this place is a high quality restaurant but clearly catered towards Chinese patrons as the menu is in Chinese with very very small English text underneath which I could barely read (with some minor typos).

The waitresses seemed friendly but brought the dishes without stating the dish, nor stated anything. My partner and I couldn't tell what language we should be speaking in as we weren't spoken to until it was almost closing time and they gave us a time warning. Not an overly negative experience but just a bit awkward when there is silence for the few seconds when they bring the dishes and place it onto the table.

Located in the heart of Chinatown, Wuta Bistro is a popular Sichuan eatery serving tasty comforting dishes. Fans of braised pork knuckle rice gotta try it here! The portion size is huge with the meat fatty, gelatinous tender good! Other favourites include fried rice, sweet & sour pork and stir-fry vegggies.

Open to 2am Monday to Sunday with live music performance on the weekend and private VIP Karaoke room available for booking for up to 10 people, it's a great night place to be!

Took my friends from NZ to try this place. We liked all the dishes we ordered, but the duck was everyone's favourite. The potato and beef stew was the least favourite. It probably needed a bit more cooking, so it could be more tender. There was live music as well. We'll definitely come back.

Tried their new braised pork knuckle rice! Super large in portion!! The pork knuckle was soft & a little fatty for me but it was braised pretty well! It had enough meat sauce, it soaked into the rice underneath it and it was so good! You can combine the pork knuckle with bbq pork, roast duck etc or even like extra toppings like braised eggs.
