I am not one to leave reviews on anything but I just had to jump on here and give great thanks to the amazing Chang. I am forever grateful for giving my daughter a chance of vision. My baby girl was born with congenital cataract in both her eyes. As a first time mother my stress was to the roof especially having no knowledge of the issue. With Dr. Chang I gained reassurance and confidence that my daughter was in the right hands. May God bless you you truly have the hands of an angel. I look forward to continuing my baby girl’s journey with you. 10 out of 10 definitely recommend

I don’t know where to begin. It’s a complete shock when you’re 1 year old is diagnosed with congenital bilateral cataracts. Being told that our one year olds only option for a healthy vision development is to have bilateral 4 hour surgery. That was probably the hardest news I had to absorb. We met with other doctors and unfortunately they did not fit. During our first consultation with
Dr. Chang, my wife and I gave each other “the look” which meant we found the right one. Dr. Chang is not only elite at his profession, he is gifted with an amazing ability to communicate transparently. He still responds to all our concerns through email if we have an issue or question. We are wholeheartedly grateful for the care Dr. Chang took with our little boy. Thank you God for putting us in the right hands.

Dr. Chang is brilliant and caring.
My daughter was diagnosed with Juvenile Open Angle Glaucoma at age 17. She is now 21. We saw Dr. Chang five times last year. He performed two SLT procedures, helped us through some medication issues and has carefully monitored her to ensure that she can focus on college.
From our first appointment with him, Dr. Chang always spends time with us, double checks test results and examines her thoroughly. He makes sure all of our questions are answered. He reassured her when she was afraid of the laser surgery and allowed me to come to her appointments during COVID despite the fact she is no longer a minor. We travel from NC to FL (over 1400 miles roundtrip) to see him because there is no one else I trust with my daughter's eyes and she also only wants to see him.
He allows us to communicate via e-mail and is always happy to answer any questions we have. He always responds quickly. He also does virtual sessions which helped us one time when we had an urgent issue.
He is advancing the field through research and training physicians around the world, yet even with his busy schedule, he makes time for each patient and gets to know them, remembering their interests, studies, etc. He is a great doctor!
